Argon Laser Retinopexy

This type of laser is used to treat retinal tears, that can occasionally result from detachment of the vitreous gel in the back of the eye.

The procedure takes place in the rooms at Northpoint Eye Care. Your eye is anaesthetised with drops. There may be minor discomfort with the procedure. It is well-tolerated by most people with minimal side effects and risks. You will need a support person to drive you home from the procedure. Follow-up will be arranged with your ophthalmologist.
