Northpoint Eye Care is a state of the art ophthalmological practice, centrally located in North Lakes, the hub of the northern suburbs of Brisbane. The aim of the practice is to provide a caring approach to deliver comprehensive surgical and medical ophthalmic care in a modern, paperless practice with cutting edge technology and communication techniques.

Our experienced specialists, Dr Andrew Smith, Dr Stuart Reader and Dr Gurmit Uppal are committed to serving the area full time, and into the future.

We welcome both routine and urgent ophthalmic referrals. We provide a paperless secure practice not only to best protect your health records, but also to save you time and to save the environment. Our facilities include the latest in diagnostic and imaging equipment, and we are able to communicate with you about your conditions on large screen monitors in all of the consulting rooms.

We have a minor operations theatre and Argon, YAG and SLT lasers, for treatment of various conditions in the rooms. Our surgery is performed locally with access to several day surgery facilities.

We cater to all patients, with or without health insurance. All of your clinical workup and follow-up, for all your ophthalmic conditions, is provided locally at the practice.

We provide free onsite undercover parking for patients. Access is via Endeavour Boulevard, proceed under the building.
